A Legend of Burlesque Satan's Angel set the World of Burlesque aflame - Literally - with her signature Fire Tassel-Twirling Act, in which she twirled Five Flaming Tassels Simultaneously!A pioneer lesbian, who paved the way for many gay Entertainers. Burlesque Legend Shannon Doah began her thirty plus year career in burlesque in the 1960’s. She began performing in San Francisco’s infamous North Beach and notorious Hollywood strip clubs. She became a star in the first US production of the original Crazy Horse Paris Saloon show in Beverly Hills. Known for her "Paris and Hollywood" inspired shows and "Varga Pin-Up Girl" looks, she featured as a striptease performer and toured across the US and Internationally. Shannon Doah has shared the stage with legendary burlesque queens including Dixie Evans, Tempest Storm, Satan’s Angel, Kitten Natividad, Gina Bon Bon, Tiffany Carter, Kitten De Ville and Catherine D’Lish.

Legend Gabriella Maze Started her burlesque career in London England  after the craziest audition of her life in the kitchen of producer Jackie Harris  were she was asked to freestyle a dance and sing.

 Gabriella thought she was auditioning for a troupe that would be working in London so when she was asked if she had a passport and if she could be ready to travel to Spain in three weeks.   She was asked to sign a contract to be apart of the Migliorini  troupe named after  Agent Luciano Migliorini  of Italy  she jumped at the chance of a lifetime and has never looked back.

 Little did she know that this audition would lead to a lifetime of travel and performing with some of the worlds best musicians comedy acts and burlesque performers. Starting out as a showgirl at the back of the line she made her way  front and center  as a solo burlesque dancer in between the groups dance numbers Performing all over Europe and the Middle East.

After learning everything she could from Jackie and Luciano it was time to take it to the next level  She signed with Artin a well know agent from Cyprus. She was the in charge of where she traveled but most of all for Gabriella her artistic flow.  She performed in Baghdad at the Embassy and the La Boheme in Iran the Crazy Horse in Greece and so many more, working her way around the globe, with a body to die for and her ability to move yards of fabric across a stage with ease .

Gabriella came out of retirement in December 2011 to make her  come back to the stage with Syrens Of The South for their annual Tits For Toys For Tots  Show in Atlanta GA and just like in the past is ready to take that journey again !

Ben Wisdom has been performing burlesque since 2009 as the Master of Ceremonies and Co-producer of New Orleans' most outrageous show, Slow Burn Burlesque. He is also the emcee of "The Dirty Dime Peepshow", a performance showcasing the darker, dirtier side of the Crescent City's burlesque scene. In addition, he has guest emceed for the Storyville Starlettes in New Orleans and Gilded Lily Burlesque in Baltimore, and he was the host for the 2009 and 2010 Bourbon and Burlesque fundraiser for the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans. He is also one of the stars of the upcoming feature length film, "Save Our Souls", a documentary about post Katrina New Orleans as told through the eyes of the members of Slow Burn. Her iconic act "Wanted: Ginger Spice!" won 7th place at the 2011 Tea Time Tassel Off in Leeds, UK. She uses her knowledge of exotic dance from being a pole performer & instructor to inspire her acts and be a brilliant tease on the stage..Georgia's notable performances include Volupte Lounge in London and Coquette Burlesque & Cabaret Club in York, UK as well as competing in the semi-finals of the Lindau Awards at the Germany Burlesque Festival. Joy Coy is a burlesque performer, performance artist, and amateur journalist based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is classically trained in the styles of ballet, jazz, modern, and lyrical-jazz. Joy is also a member of Albuquerque’s sensational neo-burlesque troupe, Burlesque Noir.

Fairly new to the burlesque scene, Joy began performing in the backyard of her former party-house/commune in October, 2010. Once introduced to the greater world of shimmies and shakes, through Burlesque Noir, she developed a profound love for the art that she had never felt before and hasn’t left the stage since

Katherine Lashe, “The Girl Behind the Behind,” has been called a “top tassel-twirler” by Las Vegas City Life, “Lucille Ball in pasties" by Creative Loafing Atlanta and “The hardest working Burlesque Performer” by Pure Politics.com, she is an internationally acclaimed burlesque performer, producer and teacher as well as being a local Atlanta favorite.  Katherine is known for her ass-ets and has been wowing audiences with her alluring mix of 1950s pin-up and musical theater background, peppered with comedy and her punk-rock roots all around the Southeast as well as Boston, New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Hollywood, New Orleans and across Texas, as a soloist and with her company, Syrens of the South Productions.   She is also the co-producer of The Southern Fried Burlesque Fest which celebrates its second year in March 2012!

Kisa von Teasa is an Ecdysiast Extraordinaire, Vaudeville Vixen, and quite the little humorist. She has been performing from coast to coast since 2005. Kisa takes her love of movement and her training in Improvisational Comedic Theatre and smashes them together to form her own unique blend of Burlesque. Performing, Co-Producing and being Administratrix for the troupe, Salome Cabaret, keeps her busy and has left her with quite the mighty tool bag of skills and knowledge. Home base for her is Knoxville, TN. Since finding Burlesque, Kisa now has the perfect creative outlet that she had been searching for...and the only way you can have her handmade rhinestone shoes is if you pry them off her cold dead feet. 

Little Luna has been performing on the scene for the past 6 years. She is the Co-founder and Co-producer of Gilded Lily Burlesque and Co-Headmistress at the Gilded Lily School of Burlesque. She has performed her very unique brand of neo-burlesque around various parts of the country and has guested with such top notch performers asTrixie Little and the Evil Hate Monkey, Nasty Canasta, Kitten DeVille, Murray Hill, and the World Famous Pontani Sisters. Last year she graced the stage of the Asheville Burlesque Fest to much acclaim. She is very proud to be a part of this year's Southern Fried Burlesque Fest! 

Calling to mind a modern-day Mae West, Lucky DeLuxe tickles her audiences with a combination of sharp wit, audacious experience and flirtatious sensuality.  Having successfully integrated burlesque routines into her standup stage show, this lovely lady brings a bevy of charisma, honesty and passion to every performance. She’s been described as both “a cross between June Cleaver and Columbia from Rocky Horror, with the vernacular of a stevedore.” (Dayton Daily News), and “a funny stripper.” (LA Weekly)

From television appearances on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing 7” (2010), “Beverly Hills Brides” (2011), America’s Court (2011) and the Oxygen Network’s “Girls Behaving Badly” (2004), to various radio exposure, including Sirius XM’s Rawdogs Comedy channel (2011), to being published as a columnist for UnCovered Magazine (2004-5) and KC Confidential (2010), Lucky DeLuxe shares her talents in a variety of entertainment genres.  She will be performing in 2012’s  World Burlesque Games in London.  She has done character voice work for the nationally syndicated radio show “Mancow’s Morning Madhouse” (2000, 01).  Working the road as a standup comic since 1996, she has also performed at many comedy clubs, bars, bowling alleys and juke joints as well.

Lucky DeLuxe was instrumental in the resurgence of professional burlesque-based variety productions in Kansas City. From 2008 - 2010, she was the main emcee for the Kansas City branch of Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School, a burlesque life-drawing salon with branches across the world.  In 2010, she created her first 1-woman show called “Cabaret DeLuxe”, uniquely blending her standup comedy with burlesque and live jazz, which ran for 11 months at Jardine's Jazz Club (Kansas City).  Her second 1-woman show, “Getting Lucky”, was awarded the “Best Of Fringe” title for its venue, during its debut run at the 2011 Kansas City Fringe Festival, mentioned by name in Southwest Airline’s Spirit Magazine, and is currently being booked in several cities across the US.  Her touring burlesque variety show, “Lucky’s DeLuxe Giggle-n-Grind" is catching the attention of comedy clubs and theaters nationwide, and has a homebase at the Hollywood Improv’s Comedy Lab.  Currently living in Los Angeles, she is excited to continue touring and expanding the exposure (pun completely intended…) of the projects that she holds near and dear.

Born and Raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Magdalena Fox (a founding member of Storybook Burlesque) picked up and moved to New York City in search of excitement and adventure, and she hasn’t looked back! A graduate of the New York School of Burlesque, she made her stage debut in December of 2008 and has since been busy wowing crowds with her inventiveness, character choices, and taste in music. When not busy performing her signature, nerdy numbers all over NYC and special appearances throughout the Northeast, (including Indie Girls Burlesque, Epic Win Burlesque, and the Red Rover Revue) Magdalena is hard at work making costumes for a number of her sister performers. 

Music City Burlesque is a collective effort of Nashville's Biggest Burlesque Sin-sations. For Southern Fried 2012, featuring the collective troupe talents of Freya West, Lux-O-Matic, and Bebe McQueen, together with frequent guest performers Renee Minou, Shan de Leers, Scarlet Wild, and One Chance Fancy. 

Just a home town gal, Rena LaMarr knew someday the stage would be hers.   The costumes from her grandparent’s adagio routines in a trunk of forgotten memories inspired her to peruse her own path on stage.   After years of dance classes and “The School of Hard Knocks”, she made her 2010 debut with Boxcar Burlesque.  Since her debut, she has performed in will known tours such as; Dangerous Curves Burlesque on the Go Go and Grab My Junk.  This year she has already performed in the first Purrrlesque Follies showcase Charity Burlesque festival. Each time Rena hits the stage, she has dazzled the audiences with her hand adorned costumes and her sultry routines.   Her Rubenesque figure flows from seductive fan dances to bawdy Blues numbers.   Rena LaMarr always leaves the audience satisfied but calling for more.

Not only sweet, but full of spice, Sugar Lee launched her burlesque career in 2008 with Bustout Burlesque in New Orleans.  Since then, she has moved to Bloomington, Indiana and performed with the Bloomington Burlesque Brigade, Angel Burlesque in Indianapolis, and as a special guest performer at the Jumpin Jupiter in St. Louis.  She performed in the 2009 and 2011 New Orleans Burlesque Festivals, the 2011 Dallas Burlesque Festival and the 2011 Best of Midwest Burlesque Festival.  Sugar Lee incorporates her classical vocal and dance training into her unique routines.

Truvy Trollop was born in the hills of Tennessee on a hot summer afternoon in August. She grew up a dancing gypsy with her mama's traveling family band. In 2007 Truvy started performing with the smoldering sirens of "Music City Burlesque" in Nashville, Tennessee. Since then she has gone on to arouse and carouse with the burlesque elite. Truvy has produced a number of shows, performed at many different burlesque shows and events and also lent her talents to countless benefit and charity events. Truvy says, "Burlesque is a way of life for me, and I was born to do this." In order to further her burlesque dreams, Truvy transplanted herself in Berkeley, California in late 2010 and has currently performed with The Hubba Hubba Revue, The Curvicious Cabaret, The Red Hots Burlesque, Little Minsky's and Barbary Coast Burlesque. 
     
         Truvy Trollop started her classical dance training at the age of three, with ballet, tap, and jazz. This dance virtuoso has continued to expand her love of movement through out her adulthood and has studied an extensive number of different dance genres, rounding it all off with a stint as a ballroom dance teacher. After dancing at The Mouse's Ear strip club in Knoxville, Tennessee she found burlesque. Truvy brought her knowledge of dance to burlesque and turned into striptease gold, with stage presence that will knock you sideways. Hailing from the southern United States, this foxy firebrand embodies classic burlesque glamour, and adds a dose of sweet and sassy to all of her strip-tease routines.

     Performing on glamorous stages is not enough for this siren. Truvy wants to give everyday people the chance to meet their inner burlesque star. She has started teaching her captivating shows of skill and alluring charm in Berkeley, with Truvy Trollop's Tease Training. She is now accepting students of most ages and all genders at her private studio in Berkeley. 

Vivian MirAnn began performing burlesque in 2009, appearing in several local Albuquerque shows as they came up. A longtime fan of the art, she took as many classes and sought as much instruction as she could find in order to improve her newfound craft. Before long, she was appearing in shows across New Mexico, Colorado, and in national festivals. In mid-2010, Vivian decided to host a new series of shows under the title "Miss Vivian Presents...". Drawing from the first half of the twentieth century, the format included burlesque performers, sideshow artists, Vaudeville  performers, and much more. Soon after, the Gilded Cage Burlesk & Varieté was born.

  Since then, Vivian has been bringing in performers from throughout the Southwest into Gilded Cage shows, and has assembled many of the best burlesque girls to form the core of the troupe. Together, they’ve helped to bring the art of burlesque to a much wider audience in Albuquerque than ever before. In a relatively short time, Vivian’s stage style has evolved into ever larger, grander routines, and she’s
become well-known in local burlesque circles for her trademark towering headdresses and elaborate costuming. "I'm driven by demons" says
Vivian, and if the successes of her young career and of her troupe are good indicators, that may well be true! 

Energetic, sexy, alluring, Ursula Undress is a balanced mixture of frolic and fever. Having a playful, yet naughty girl-next-door attitude while standing on the edge of darkness, Ursula invokes rockabilly glamour and subtle humor, peppered with sauciness and the ability to shake it! Captivating audiences with both her energy and her shimmy, she has gained steam in the burlesque world in a short amount of time.  She has performed nationally, including opening for Unknown Hinson, guest performing in the DragonCon Cabaret, and performing at festivals such as the Americana Burlesque & Sideshow Festival, The Texas Burlesque Festival, and was in the Headlining Mondo Show at the New Orleans Burlesque Festival in 2010. She was also runner-up in 2010's Viva Las Vegas 13 Burlesque Competition. Ursula's current projects (other than co-organizing this festival!) include teaching, producing, designing posters and graphics for local events, and being a new mommy!
