Master of Cerimonies: Big Gay James - Knoxville, TN
Big Gay James was born one chilly Iowa morning October 11th 1980. Some say his first words were a fart joke, others say it was simply... the phrase "fuck off", but regardless it was clear from the get go that he had a lot to say. After a pilgrimage with his family to East Tennessee in the early 90s, Big Gay James (or Little Big Gay James at the time) began to show interest in acting. His ever encouraging and supportive mother took him to the local playhouse where he landed a small but crucial part in the first show he auditioned for. He continued to blaze a trail through the community theater circuit where he had the pleasure to work with outstanding performers from across the country.
In the summer of 2001 BGJ had the pleasure of meeting the one and only Siren Santina. He knew in that moment that she would help change his life forever. They began a whirlwind love affair (the kind that only a gay man and a female opera loving, vintage BMW driving, classic British television aficionado could have) that would rival the classics. For years he sat in the audience in awe of her talent as a singer, and eventually a Burlesque performer. Sitting in on a rehearsal on a fall evening in 2008 BGJ decided it was his turn to have a crack at the bat. He partnered with the infamous Weird Alice and began to wright and act in original sketch comedy for Salome Cabaret. This eventually lead to him taking over hosting duties, turning him into the Emcee you know and love today.
Along with his wonderful Salome family, Big Gay James has had the honor of sharing the stage with the likes of amazing burlesque performers such as Anita Cookie, Little Brooklyn, Phil Slomski, Darlinda Just Darlinda, Freya West, HELLZAPOPPIN CIRCUS SIDESHOW, and Deanna Danger to name a just a few.
In 2012 he had the pleasure of hosting the Just Hatched showcase at the second Southern Fried Burlesque Fest, and will be returning to Emcee the show again in 2013.
In 2013 BGJ was asked to Emcee the Purrrlesque charity weekend and was blessed to share the stage with the beautiful Peekaboo Pointe and the one and only Nastie Canasta.
Nobody knows what the future will hold for Big Gay James, but you can bet it will involve a bottle whiskey, some foul language, and all of your wonderful faces

Brigitte Petite - Indianapolis, IN
Brigitte Petite is known as “the girl with the plus-size voice”. As a performer and Goddess of Digital Media for the troupe, Angel Burlesque, Brigitte uses that voice to promote herself, her troupe, and the disease she invented (and copes with), Look at Me Syndrome (LAMS). Brigitte spent her formative years studying classical voice and musical theatre, but discovered that she could get more attention if she took off her top. As such, she has been performing burlesque since 2011, in and around Indianapolis, IN, the Midwest, and most recently, the South – where she appeared in the 2012 Alabama Burlesque Festival and the Great Southern Exposure Pageant. Brigitte has performed alongside members of Chicago’s Stagedoor Johnnies and The Kiss Kiss Cabaret, Knoxville’s Salome Cabaret, and Columbus, OH’s The Ooh La Las.
Bunny Wigglebottom - Knoxville, TN
Although technically a neophyte, Ms. Bunny Wigglebottom has been a burlesque enthusiast for over a decade. Her obsession officially began at the 2002 San Diego Comic Con screening of "The Velvet Hammer Burlesque". Since then, Bunny has traveled all over the US in search of burlesque performances and festivals including: The Southern Fried Burlesque Fest, The New Orleans Burlesque Festival, The American Burlesque & Sideshow Festival, The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend, and BurlyCon. She has also had the opportunity to take classes with some of the biggest names in burlesque: Dirty Martini, Kitten DeVille, Coco Lectric, Princess Farhana, Lola Van Ella, The World Famous BOB, Satan's Angel, Jo Boobs Weldon, Julie Atlas Muz and Miss Indigo Blue. Bunny Wigglebottom made her burlesque debut on October 27, 2012 in the Salome Cabaret 5th Annual Boolesque Spectacular in Knoxville, TN. She hopes this is only the beginning to a beautiful adventure.
Cambria Cadavah - Dallas, TX
No stranger to the stage, Cambria Cadavah puts a creative twist on classic and neo burlesque. Once you think you know what to expect from this little ball of fire she is burning you up in a whole new way. She is a member of Dallas based Broads and Panties Burlesque and lives for the stage. Her passion is to share little pieces of herself with you one piece of clothing at a time and revels in doing it in the unexpected.
Envy: Victoria Rose and Nicole Nedley - Atlanta, GA
We are sisters who grew up dancing together. This is introducing Nicole who is not a regular burlesque performer, however, Victoria has been performing, for a year and has been a part of Syrens of the South for 8 months
Luna Lynx - Atlanta, GA
I was born of a planet so magical it was a being itself. That planet was my mother and I was raised far past the Milky Way as a little satellite. My mother knew I was destined for a galaxy different than ours and sent me to travel the universe. While traveling through the stars I developed a horrible stardust addiction. I traveled aimlessly till I found a planet to rehabilitate on. In the Milky Way I met my moon, my man and fell in love. We would dance around the Earth and along the light of day teasing the sun. Until one day I saw a sparkle and a shine I was so drawn to I could not resist. I traveled to Earth as a shooting star and found Minette Magnifique. All the razzle dazzle enticed me to join their cause. And now since my return from my stay with my moon I take care of the wonderful ladies of Minette.
Pan D'Orable - Knoxville, TN
Pan D'Orable is the "Cutie Patootie with the Kamikaze Bootie." I perform with Salomé Cabaret out of Knoxville, TN. As a larger, hairy fella, I like to consider what I do "bearlesque," and my goal is to not only entertain, but to make folks question their traditional conception of beauty. Oh, and it's also to make folks uncomfortable from time to time.
Po'Chop - Chicago, IL
Po’Chop is one savory cut that is sure to leave your mouth-watering for more. Having been a member of Vaudezilla since 2011 and marinated in over 10 years of dance training, this juicy cut combines story-telling, dance, and elements of theatre to create acts that have been described as “edgy performance-art-influenced burlesque pieces.” Po’Chop! Even vegetarians want a bite of her.
Tru Bliss - Atlanta, GA
Hailing from Atlanta Georgia, after recently graduating from Syrens of the South's Tease U, Tru Bliss has spead her burlesque fans and has performed with Syrens of the South and Kitty Love's Sultry Sundays.
